Additional Driver Information

Additional Drivers are allowed at additional cost.
Additional Drivers must meet the same criteria as the primary driver.
Additional drivers must be present at the time of rental and present a full valid drivers licence held for at least one year.
Additional driver fee EUR 10 per rental.

Age Information

Minimum age is 21 for all car groups
Maximum age is 75 for all renters.

Cash Information

Credit card(s) will be required for full rental charges and a deposit for any excess.

Cross Border Traffic Information

Cross border traffic is allowed.

Drivers License Information

All named drivers must hold a full, clean and valid drivers licence, and held for a minimum of one year.

Fuel Information

Refuelling charge; 1/4 tank of fuel is ensured when the vehicle is picked up. Vehicle should be returned with 1/4 of tank or client will be charged the difference.

Rental Return Information

The car or van should be returned in accordance with the Rental Agreement, including fuel, damage and other policies.

Special Equipment

The Law in Portugal states any child up to the age of 12 years or 1.5 metres in height must be supported by a child safety seat or a booster seat whilst travelling in a vehicle.

Coverage / Insurance Information

Collision Damage Waiver: If the Auto Atlantico rental vehicle is damaged the customer will be covered for the cost of the repair if CDW Is purchased. If CDW is not taken the customer will be asked to leave damage responsibility as a deposit.

The following items are not covered by insurances:

Broken key locks, tyres, wheel trims, chipped or broken windows, additional parking charges and fires are strictly the clients responsibility.
